Remote Access to your home via the Telephone
iPhone Control If you'd like to use your iPhone or iPod Touch to control your Hometronic system, that is now possible using our WebManager product. Using the iPhone's web browser, you can connect to the WebManager via your local network or via the internet. The WebManager automatically detects that you are using an iPhone, and sends specially designed web pages; you don't need to buy a special iPhone "app" for this |

Being
able to remotely control your heating
system is a very useful thing for many
people. Maybe you have a second home,
or perhaps your work means that you use
your house in an unpredicatable way?
Wouldn’t it be nice to save energy by
turning the heating down when the house
is not in use, but still be able to walk in to
a warm, comfortable home when you
arrive? This is particularly important with
underfloor heating, which may take many
hours to reheat a property from cold.
The Telephone Interface allows remote control
of the
heating, hot water system and potentially other
systems by using a standard voice telephone line.
I
Installation is simple, and can be undertaken
by any
competent electrician. The Telephone Interface can
be used to control a Honeywell Hometronic system,
or a simple conventional timeclock-driven system.
